Christmas Countdown Day 2

As I said in Day 1’s post, I caught myself being a bit of a grump about Christmas so decided to do something about it. Enter my Random Act of Kindness coundown. Here’s day 2:

If you’d like all the random acts of kindness in one list, email me and I’ll send you a copy.

I think for next year I’ll change this to “help decorate someone’s house or yard.” So if you’d rather do that, go for it! I did that last year and it was so much more fun than decorating my own house. Here’s a beautiful house. I wonder where she gets her energy and time to do this!

Isn’t that gorgeous?

Here’s today’s scripture:

Luke 1:26-38:

26 The following month God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, 27 to a virgin, Mary, engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.

28 Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Congratulations, favored lady! The Lord is with you!”[e]

29 Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean.

30 “Don’t be frightened, Mary,” the angel told her, “for God has decided to wonderfully bless you!

Here’s today’s song!
